How to Join

Fill out our interest form at bit.ly/acs_prof and contact our Secretary (secretary@acsprof.org) that you have filled out the membership form.

– or –

When you pay your ACS dues:

If you are a calendar year renewer, your dues notice was sent to the printer before any additions you may make prior to receiving the dues statement. This means that the memberships you add (such as this subdivision) before receiving your statement won’t show up on your printed renewal invoice. If you renew online and have already joined the subdivision, it will appear on your list of current memberships. If you have not joined already, you’ll be able to easily add in PROF and the subdivision online. If you renew by mail, you will need to write in the addition of PROF and/or the subdivision.

Why join PROF?

Joining the Division of Professional Relations gives you access to a proud and established network of professionals eager to make the ACS and the chemical sciences community a more welcoming place for all. Ready to get more involved? Contact chair@acsprof.org or check out our opportunities page!

Add a Subdivision

  1. Log into your ACS account.
  2. Click [Add/Edit] on the Division bar
  3. Check the subdivision(s) you wish to add under PROF. (There are seven in total and all are free to join with your divisional dues)

If you have already paid your current year’s bill, you can only add a subdivision by contacting the ACS.
